We had already covered an article about sixteen devices
from HTC that were to receive the Ice Cream Sandwich update and it now
seems that, that particular news has been honoured. The list of
smartphones, include Droid Incredible 2 by HTC, HTC Amaze 4G, HTC EVO
Design 4G, HTC Sensation 4G, HTC Raider, HTC Rezound, HTC Thunderbolt
and HTC Vivid. While those in the Indian sub-region may not be too
familiar with those names, a couple of other devices, including the
Sensation, Sensation XE, Sensation XL, Desire S, Desire HD, Evo 3D,
Incredible S, and women-centric Rhyme were to receive ICS as well. So,
that’s definitely good news for those users currently owning these
phones. What’s part of the bad news, now is that a couple of users are
complaining about a few issues related to the updated ROM. Complaints
have started pouring in about the ROM being a tad buggy and unstable.
While that doesn’t paint the real picture, you can stay tuned to this
space to know more about HTC’s ICS updates.
